My name is Paul B. Feldmann. I’m a senior art director at O’Keefe Reinhard & Paul.

When I was 16 years old I left my hometown and traveled to Japan and lived with a host family for 6 months. I loved my time there so much I went back and studied Japanese at Chiba University for a year. After I finished studying art with a focus in film at the University of Illinois at Chicago, I left the States again to teach English in Korea for 3 years. I then returned back home and enrolled at Chicago Portfolio School to study art direction.

Art school taught me the importance of concept and craft. Living abroad taught me the importance of communicating effectively and to never stop learning new things. And portfolio school taught me how to harness all those experiences and bring something uniquely me to the projects I work on.

I’m a maker. If I don’t know how to do something I teach myself. Whether that’s writing and recording music, drawing my own animations, or building a machine that turns people into puppets. My goal is to tell unique stories in ways people haven’t experienced before.

The world is a big amazing place. Let’s make something cool together. Connect with me on LinkedIn.

P.S. That’s my dog Chancho. Chancho is slang for “pig” in Spanish.
